6 point Diamond Paper Pieces
The 6-point Diamonds get their name from the star they make. Their size is measured along one length and all sides are equal. The height of the Diamond is 1.75 x the length.
I think my favourite design in the world is the 6-point star made from 2" Diamonds! But I also love Diamonds stitched in rows or baby blocks, or surrounding a little flower made from Jewel shapes around a Hexagon. They're versatile and pretty and play so nicely with many other pieces.
The Flock of Stars quilt in the photos uses 2" Diamonds.
